Demolitian Derby 2008

Well I'd have to say he did pretty good this year, probably not as well as he would have liked to have done. But pretty good for having one of the smallest cars he has ever had. He thinks he may have broke a couple of his ribs the 1st night out in the arena, he got hit in the drivers side door pretty hard. He seemed to have had a good time but I think all in all, he was ready for it to be over with, I think he was pretty wore out and tired from spending so much time on his car.

Poppys 80th birthday party

Poppy had a party today for his 80th birthday. Lots of people showed up and seems like everyone had a really good time. There was lots of food, swimming, and music.

Had a visitor from California

Oma came down from California for a week to see the family. She doesnt get to come visit all too often, maybe once every couple of years or so. We really enjoyed having her down. She even made us fried bananas! They were SO good!

Kids 1st day back to school - August 18th 2008

The day has FINALLY come! All 3 kids are all in school! Brianna started 5th grade, Ashlynn started 4th grade, and Cameron started kindergarten. Cameron was SO excited to start school, I think he was more excited to ride the school bus though. The girls were ready to go back too, I think they were getting a little bored towards the end of the summer.

My sweet child

Well, today is my birthday unfortunately but to my surprise when I walked in the front door this morning after getting off work I seen a gift bag that said Happy Birthday on it. I was shocked. I opened it up and it was from Brianna. She spent her own allowance money just to get me a gift. She has such a big heart. Attached to the gift bag was a piece of paper that said "Happy Birthday Momma". I have to admit that made my day. =)

Girls Day Out

Me and the girls had a "girls day out" a couple of months ago. I had to post these because I really like these pictures. These are just a few of them. Brianna and Ashlynn got their hair cut and we had lunch with Nana and Aunt Debbie and then I took them to Garvan Woodland Gardens.

This is all new to me!

I have never done anything like this before, so this will be trial and error until I get into the swing of things. I am not one you'd call computer inclined. All I can do is promise to update this thing as much as I can so my friends and family can keep up with my little family. When it comes to having a 10 yr old, 9 yr old, and 5 yr old, finding time to sit down and mail out pictures ain't happening. Can I get an AMEN! I hope you'll enjoy seeing and hearing from our family as much as I'll enjoy sharing my family with you.
